3rd edition

The Municipality of Marghita implemented in partnership with the Municipality of Berettyóújfalu in Hungary the project ROHU-359 "Promoting an integrated approach to improving employment and business development in the micro-regions of Marghita and Berettyóújfalu".
The project receives funding from the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund and is co-financed by the programme partner countries Romania and Hungary.
Several activities have been organised in Marghita as part of the project, such as job fairs and training conferences for entrepreneurs.
The main objective of the project is to improve the employment rate and the business environment in the Marghita area by creating appropriate support tools for training, employment and economic development, and by developing the necessary infrastructure to promote local potential in the field of agriculture and agri-food.
On this occasion, several important projects for our community were financed and implemented.First, we aim to develop an employment and economic development strategy for the micro-region.
We have organized several training programs in entrepreneurship that have benefited several dozens of people who already have or want to start a business in Marghita and nearby localities. We organised several job fairs. We organised "Agro Business Days". More than 800 people attended these events.
The project is financed by the INTERREG V-A Romania-Hungary Programme, Priority Axis 3, Specific Objective 8 B and has a total value of 2.619.494 Euro, of which 1.689.494 Euro is for the Municipality of Marghita and 930.000 Euro for the Municipality of Berettyóújfalu. This project has been carried out between 1 May 2020 and 31 December 2023.
